The Hindu deity Jagannath is the subject of the temple known as Jagannath Temple. It's in Puri, Odisha, which is in India. In the Jagannath or Gundicha Temple complex, a World Heritage Site, the temple is the most significant one. King Bhoja of the Eastern Ganga Dynasty erected the temple in the 12th century. Over 50 million people visit the temple each year since it is a holy destination for Hindus.
